High performance spooling of PCL, PS and PDF jobs
Océ PRISMAspool allows users to spool jobs in PCL, PostScript and PDF format. It can drive anything from desktop printers up to Océ high performance continuous feed PCL systems at rated speed and includes full color support. Data can be received from multiple environments and heterogeneous networks are supported. LPR can be used for legacy systems. Integrated viewers allow to preview jobs. Jobs can easily be stopped and restarted, while page range printing ensures efficient operation. Printers can be controlled using form name and job class, giving the operator better control over the mounted forms and the priority of the output. Océ PRISMAspool can also transfer data via networks to and from other servers or printers. In addition, Océ PRISMAspool provides features that enhance the Windows Job Ticket with useful accounting and spool extensions. Intelligent input filters permit job automation.
Professional users will appreciate further features such as LDAP, SNMP and Unicode support, PCL barcode translation, remote administration, web monitoring and much more.

One of Océ PRISMAspool’s powerful features is that it provides the level of security required by professional printers. Thanks to its PJL capabilities, it enables automatic error recovery, ensuring output integrity. Integrated printer checks, for example, can generate an alarm if job, form and device properties do not match, while a reprint queue can save jobs until they have been successfully completed.
