What is an Océ software license and an Océ license number?
An Océ software license formally gives you the right to use a software application. An Océ software license number is the number that you receive from Océ when you purchase a license for an Océ software product. The license number gives you the right to use and exploit the ordered feature set of the software.
Océ PRISMAnterprise
Each Océ PRISMAenterprise application, with the exeption of Device Manager includes a License Key Certificate that allows the use of the software in combination with five (5) printer devices. To add more printers additional licenses can be obtained via Océ and can be added at any time in increments of 1, 5 or 25 printer device licenses. Océ’s License Management System offers easy installation and activation of your licenses.
i-Option
In order to use i-Option, a token code and the applicable serial number of the printer device is required. When activated in the Océ License Management System a license number is supplied which will activate the i-Option on the pritner device.
Activating your Océ PRISMAenterprise License
You can activate your license in 3 simple steps:
Purchase
Océ PRISMAenterprise Account, Authentication or My Panel Manger and locate your License Key Certificate. Your License Key Certificate includes 5 printer devices for Océ PRISMAenterprise.
Registration
After installation of PRISMAenterprise, go to the Server Settings menu and register your License Key number.
License Verification
Once your registration is verified by the License Management System (LMS), please confirm the license information in the Océ PRISMAenterprise Server Settings menu. Your license is now activated and can be assigned to a printer device.
Note: This process also applies to the optional Gateway for Biometric Authentication Manager. Only the License Key Certificate is issued . A license is required to activate each biometric authentication server.
Repair or Deactivating your license?
In case you want to deactivate your license key you can delete the license key number in the License Management settings in the application software.
Activating your i-Option License
You can activate your license in 3 simple steps:
Purchase an i-Option and receive the Token Certificate
After you have purchased an i-Option, the Token Certificate is issued and sent to you.
Token Code Number
Access the License Management System (LMS) server and input the Token code number located on the Token Certificate as well as the MFP serial number..
License Key
After that, you will receive a License Key number which is required to activate the Feature Enhancement Kit (FEK) on the printer device. (A License Key is required for each device.)
Registration and Activation
To activate the licensed i-Option features, you can either register the License Key manually by the MFP control panel, by Web Connection, or by using the License Install Utility, an activation utility for multiple devices.
Repair or Deactivating your license?
In case of an error during the above process or in case you want to deactivate your license key, please contact your local Océ Service manager.
